Lisa’s Lens: The Dull Blue Lights Shine

On Friday, I went to Levitt Pavilion at SteelStacks with plans of seeing classical hip hop duo Black Violin, who have gained popularity as they periodically visit the Lehigh Valley with a live show that successfully merges just about every genre known to man.

Unfortunately, I would come to find out that the duo re-scheduled for Sunday, September 10. However, the people at SteelStacks still gave us a show.

Founder’s Picks: Five Can’t-Miss Levitt Pavilion Shows

It’s the start of the most wonderful time of the year! Of course, we mean summer, but we also mean the start of the Levitt Pavilion season at SteelStacks.

ArtsQuest recently announced the full 2017 Levitt Pavilion lineup to the world. This year’s lineup includes headline acts including Steve Kimock, The Coasters, and The Platters, among a host of other locally, regionally, and nationally-renowned musicians.

In looking at the full lineup, we went through and picked out five selections – Can’t-Miss Shows of the Season, perhaps? – that we’re excited about.
