In addition to being a locally-coveted performance opportunity in the Lehigh Valley, Musikfest has grown to appeal to bands from outside our region – including those across the country and around the world.
The WLVU Summer Concert Series continued at Studio 73 this past Sunday, showcasing the series’ week-to-week variety by switching from Maverick da Roninn’s brand of nerdcore hip hop to the soulful Americana of Copper Fields.

Singer-songwriter Jesse Bardwell — who, since 2005, has been known for his work as part of northwestern New Jersey juggernaut Quimby Mountain Band — has gone out on his own to flex his country muscles.
It can be a tough sell to get people out of their homes on a Tuesday night for an evening on the town. However, Scott Marshall, Rocking the Valley, and a host of artists, organizations, and vendors had no problem doing just that, bringing close to 100 supporters out to the Jetport Bar & Lounge Tuesday night in the name of pediatric cancer awareness.
