As we noted in this week’s Can’t-Miss Shows post, Jakopa’s Punch Bowl sounds like a jolly good time at The Ice House on Saturday night. Jakopa’s Punch, The Bastard Sons of Burt Sugarman, and The Charts Funk Band are throwing a fundraiser — complete with king cake, a cup of jambalaya, a cold beer, and an evening of eclectic music — in support of Touchstone Theatre’s upcoming street theatre spectacle – The Jakopa’s Punch Processional.
We wanted to learn more, so we reached out to Lisa and JP Jordan at Touchstone Theatre, who filled us in.
While the music community prepares to give back to Scott Marshall in his time of need this February, the country rocker has rolled right along his usual path, staying in the charitable spirit by performing yet another benefit this past Saturday night.
