Back in March, we saw a band named Psychoskunk open a great night of music at The Grape Room in Manayunk; a night which also featured the Valley’s own Roi and the Secret People.
Life is busy for Alex Mery & The Townsmen bassist Kara Hartzell. In addition to her band’s meteoric rise to prominence in the local scene, and the trio’s budding success outside of the Valley — hello, summer tour — she’s been hard at work on a side project alongside a fellow folkster, New Jersey-based singer-songwriter Zach Russack.
Coming off the heels of Lehigh Valley Underground’s official, final lineup announcement for the May-riffic Music Festival, we present a few selections from May-riffic artists on today’s edition of The Quinn Spinn. Plus, we make a left turn into the world of EDM and present other choice tunes.

The second stop on our Folkin’ Good Saturday Night (we just came up with that name now — wish we would’ve done it sooner!) saw us head back to Bethlehem to Easton to once again enjoy a show at the legendary Godfrey Daniels. On this night, we had the privilege of taking in a performance from Dina Hall Band.
