Da’ Healerz, Guidance Whiskey Team Up on ‘Everybody Need Some Guidance’

Back in August, Da’ Healerz treated us to the live debut of their then-forthcoming single, “Everybody Need Some Guidance,” released in conjunction with Tennessee’s own Guidance Whiskey.

In case you need a refresher, here’s a video of that performance.

As it turns out, the studio version goes just as hard. Released on October 17, “Everybody Need Some Guidance” is a stadium-ready anthem which commemorates the launch of Guidance Whiskey’s Guidance Music imprint. It’s only appropriate that the first release is a celebration of ambition, creativity, and community — complete with a toast over its hard-hitting instrumental.

The release comes as Da’ Healerz get set to join us in New Orleans for Crescent City Crossroads, NOLA MusiCon‘s official after hours showcases presented alongside our friends at DAWn Audio and Tunetrax. The showcases take place Oct. 28 and 29 at two unique Big Easy venues, and full details are here.

The Quinn Spinn is BACK for Season 13, and we’re keeping the party going the same way we began: by podcasting in someone’s basement!

Be assured, however, that we’ve all grown in the decade-plus since Episode 1 hit the internet. For one thing, we’re all certified Uncs now. For another, all of that experience makes it easy for us to find ourselves in midseason, pants-removing, Stupid News-sharing, Love Island-and-Morgan-Wallen-bashing form!

In addition to all of that fun, we also welcome Da’ Healerz to our season premiere to talk about their Heal Talk EP, their forthcoming collaboration with Guidance Whiskey, and where you can catch a Heal Talk Experience near you.

Everybody Needs Some Guidance!

Wednesday night’s UnderDogs Across Borders benefit concert brought an array of memorable performances to the stage from the start, and all the way to the finish.

Closing out the night? Da’ Healerz, who ended their set by sharing some new music they’ve been working on. “Guidance” — in collaboration with Guidance Whiskey — made its live debut with us on Wednesday night and got the whole room moving, ending UnderDogs Across Borders Vol. 2 with a bang!

We had the opportunity to swing by Solberg Studios on Nashville’s historic Jefferson St. this weekend. Camera in tow, we helped capture some upcoming episodes of the Certified Lounge podcast, produced by NuRenaissance Media.

Hosts Samaria Kay and Amoré Dear welcomed a series of guests who are making a difference in the creative community, including Ether Collective founder Joe Baze, Guidance Whiskey founder Jason Ridgel, and performing artists Trane Spitta and MyaSimone. Episodes are set to release a bit later this spring, and feature inspired performances and insightful, forward-thinking conversations from some of Nashville’s most spirited entrepreneurs.
