We told you not to worry about the rain and, for the most part, we were rewarded for our faith in the inaccuracy of weather forecasters everywhere.
We told you not to worry about the rain and, for the most part, we were rewarded for our faith in the inaccuracy of weather forecasters everywhere.
We have a saying around here at LVU: A little rain can’t stop this train!
Indeed, the forecast for today isn’t favorable, but this is the last Saturday of Musikfest for 51 weeks. You aren’t going to let Mother Nature stop you from living your best life, are you?
We didn’t think so. Let’s go!
The second Friday of Musikfest is upon us! Gear up for another weekend of non-stop ‘Festivities.
True to form, we have our suggestions of where you should head tonight. Check ‘em out!
This Monday, Lehigh Valley with Love released the latest episode of its podcast, taking the opportunity to preview Musikfest.
The Lehigh Valley with Love ComedyPlatz is returning to Musikfest with two free nights of stand-up comedy on August 10 and 11 at The Ice House on 56 River Street.
The following (after the foreword) is a conversation with Lehigh Valley with Love Founder George Wacker about the organization’s rise from an anonymous satire blog, to a prominent multimedia organization in our region.
This week, we dive deeper into local arts and culture than simply music. There’s a bit of comedy, satire, and even film to enjoy throughout the Lehigh Valley. So, we decided to be well-rounded and highlight it all.
Let’s do just that, then, with these…
Our dear friends at Lehigh Valley with Love have been around a minute. Actually, they’ve been around for however many minutes go into 10 years. According to Rent, that’s 525,600 times ten, plus some extra to account for at least a couple of leap years in there. That’s literally millions of minutes, people.
At any rate, George Wacker and Co. have a decade’s worth of serving up the Valley’s most bizarre happenings to celebrate, and they’ll be doing that in style on Thursday, June 14 at SteelStacks.
With spring right around the corner, it’s time to start giving serious thought about the ever-approaching 35th annual edition of Musikfest.
And, if your a comedian, that means applying to perform during the second annual Lehigh Valley with Love Comedyplatz.
I’m back! The Bahamas were wonderful — I’ll never complain about 80 degrees and sunny, after all — but it’s good to be back on dry land, refreshed and participating in the many fun happenings in and around our community.
