Part of our May-riffic Music Festival May-keover (see what we did there?) is the official addition of several outdoor components to the now two-day event. We mentioned that we’ll be adding an outdoor stage during the day, as well as outdoor activities, and food and beverage options.
We’re also accepting vendors — and we want your business to get in on the action!
Sunday saw LVU heading into unfamiliar territory. Prior to this weekend, we had never set foot inside of Spin Me Round, the popular record store located inside of the Phillipsburg Mall. We had heard plenty about the great work they do, but the stars had never aligned for us to formally cross paths, in person.
After Sunday, I can assure you that those stars will be aligning much more frequently.
You’ve seen our first two batches of May-riffic Music Festival lineup announcements. So far, it’s a stacked festival, filled top to bottom with some of the Valley’s best artists across genres.

After Winter Storm Stella ripped through our region Monday night into Tuesday, it doesn’t feel much like spring right now. However, American Spirits Roadhouse (1090 NJ-173, Asbury, NJ) is determined to change that by next Saturday.
One note to throw out there before we kick off the week: Keep an eye on the weather. Our region is supposed to get walloped with snow Monday night into Tuesday. Forecasts are so bad that we’re not even going to bother including anything for Tuesday here, because it probably ain’t happening.

We’ve had the opportunity to encounter the Easton/Allentown School of Rock performers in the past, and we can tell you: these kids are a joy to watch. There’s a lot of young talent within their ranks.
