WrestleMania Rumor Mill and Other Tomfoolery (Quinn Spinn OG Fam Edition)

Scotty Rock and JD are back for this month’s OG Family installment of The Quinn Spinn. Today, we talk about the build (so far) to WrestleMania 40, including the return of The Rock (not “Dwayne Cena”), the evolution of Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre, and what the current dynamics mean for the rest of the members of The Bloodline. Oh, and we come up with a way for R-Truth to leave WrestleMania 40 as WWE Undisputed Champion.

This episode is more than wrestling. For starters, a 200 foot radio tower got stolen in Alabama, Scotty bought a house (in between a number of ailments), and The Quinn got roughed up during a flag football game in which he wasn’t even a participant. These are eventful times!

Championship Football and 2024 Intentions

We get 2024’s first visit with a member of the OG Quinn Spinn family this week, as JD joins the show. We chat about the forthcoming NFL conference championship matchups (Chiefs vs. Ravens, Lions vs. 49ers) and give our predictions.

We also chat about our intentions for the New Year, including the things we’re bringing into 2024, and those we’re leaving behind us in 2023.

Nashville Meets Bethlehem with Brontë Fall

The last time we checked in with Teri Bracken of Brontë Fall was 2020. Touring had come to a halt, and Teri had begun working on the songs that would become her latest EP, Winter, informed by life in transition during the pandemic.

We’ve come full circle, and Teri is hitting the road to join us in Bethlehem, PA at our Nashville Meets Bethlehem songwriter night at SteelStacks. For Teri, this full circle moment brings her back to her college town as an alumna of Lehigh University, whose musical beginnings took place just a few blocks up the street. Evolving Alongside Your Community (ft. Erin McLendon)

Erin McLendon founded Nashville-based Music on the Move Studios (formerly Women on Fire) with an all-female showcase in January 2019. Since then, Music on the Move has evolved into a creative ecosystem for female artists and entrepreneurs alike.

Erin makes her record-breaking fourth guest appearance on The Quinn Spinn to discuss Music on the Move’s evolution alongside her own, in advance of their biggest showcase to date at Nashville’s 3rd & Lindsley on Tuesday, October 10.
