Saturday evening found us back in familiar territory: back at Grimey’s New and Preloved Music in East Nashville for an album release party.
This time, it was to celebrate Desert Dove, the new record from Michaela Anne.

Two weeks ago, we announced that we are partnering with the historic Douglas Corner Cafe to bring Nashville the first-ever Underground Writers Round on Friday, September 27 beginning at 9 p.m.
Today, we’ll announce the lineup, consisting of six of Nashville’s most notable up-and-coming songwriters.
Meet the Participants
Back in 1987, Douglas Corner Cafe was founded “to create a music venue aimed at showcasing new singers and songwriters in Nashville.” In the years since, the showcase venue has hosted a mile-long list of prolific artists, from Alan Jackson, to Trisha Yearwood, to Blake Shelton.
With that said, it is our absolute honor to team with this historic venue to showcase some of Nashville’s brightest up-and-coming stars!
