With the holidays in full swing, harmonic Lehigh Valley rockers The Beautiful Distortion has announced two upcoming performances that will feature songs of the season.
The Lesson Center and Thirteen Butterflies Production are inviting some of the Valley’s brightest musical stars to shine at the Allentown Masonic Temple (1524 W. Linden St.) on Sunday, September 17 — all in the name of Hurricane Harvey relief.

Friday night at Chicago Restaurant and Club Gravity was a banner night for the Lehigh Valley music scene, as The Fyre and Ice Show booked a stellar rock and roll lineup to serve as the centerpiece of its Third Annual Lehigh Valley Musicians Social.
Several years ago, I went to my first Backyard Bands competition at the Allentown Fair. I didn’t know what to expect since it was my first time, but this band blew me away! I walked away wanting more, and that’s what you will experience at one of their shows.
Their amazing musicianship, on and off the stage, is something to be commended. Add that to their stellar vocals and unique style, and you have a six-piece monster of rock! With the different influences and talents that each member brings to the table, they fit together like a perfect puzzle.
The Balcony Show, the widely-syndicated internet radio show that will make its WLVU debut on Wednesdays beginning in June, is hosting its first Showcase of the summer at Bangor’s Broadway Pub on Friday, June 30.
