Crossroads Duo and Dave Goddess Group once again brought good music and good times to Chicago Restaurant’s Club Gravity on Thursday night as part of The Originals Music Series. It was the latter’s “Beautiful World” release party.

But, before we got to the new Dave Goddess tunes, we had some top-notch acoustic blues to enjoy from the opening Crossroads Duo. Enjoy this clip, and watch out for more to come from this great weekend of live music.

Dave Goodess Group held an album release party at The Originals Music Series on Thursday night in celebration of its new record, “Beautiful World.” The band was supported once again by Crossroads Duo for a wonderful night of rock, blues and more.

The Originals Music Series kicked off March with an exciting night of rock by featuring local artists Julius (whom you recently heard on The Quinn Spinn) and Musos, who performed at the Series in January. Both artists had some new material to debut to the audience at Chicago Restaurant’s Club Gravity on Thursday night.

Steve Brosky & Li’l Big Band Reunion
Venue: Godfrey Daniels, 7 E. 4th St., Bethlehem
Description: Steve and his musical pals will be singin’ and swingin’ some Blues, Dylan and, of course, Brosky originals (from Godfrey Daniels’ website).

The Groove Merchants

Description: Hopefully, the winter weather stays away this time as Kutztown’s favorite funk rock band returns to South Bethlehem.

Lehigh Valley Underground is proud and excited to welcome Tracie Lovett as our newest contributor!

You may already know Tracie, as she is quite involved in the Valley’s indie music scene. Alongside her best friend, Amy Danner, Tracie is one half of the duo who brings you The Fyre and Ice Show on Neue Regel Radio (Tuesdays, 8-10 p.m.) and The Originals Music Series, a weekly live showcase emanating from Chicago Restaurant and Club Gravity in Allentown every Thursday at 7 p.m.

We look forward to learning what Tracie has to share with us, and we know that she’ll add plenty of valuable insight to Lehigh Valley Underground.

Love (of great music) was in the air on Thursday night at Chicago Restaurant and Club Gravity on a busy night at The Originals Music Series! Local rockers Site Unknown and The Beautiful Distortion brought a highly enjoyable night of music to Allentown, courtesy of the Fyre and Ice Show on Neue Regel Radio.
