Daily Spinn: Allison Mahal Re-Introduces Herself on ‘Me Now’

Our friend Allison Mahal is preparing to release her EP, Me Now, this January. And, frankly, we can’t think of a better way to begin a release cycle than with a title track!

Specifically, this title track.

“Me Now” is a fresh and funky new single about breaking the chains of a toxic relationship. Over clean, jangly guitars and a thumping rhythm that recalls one of classic rock’s greatest moments, the Chicagoland native steps into her own, delivering a confident vocal performance befitting of this self-assured anthem for the newly-single.

On the production end, Sam Roller brought “Me Now” and forthcoming EP to life, alongside another familiar face: the multi-talented Van Isaacson. Check out this beautiful collective effort below!
