It’s been a little while since we’ve heard from our friends Slumlord Radio. Last summer, this band of Michiganders approached us with their album, “Too Pretty for Tijuana,” which we happily reviewed. We’ve kept an eye on each other ever since.
Thursday night presented a unique edition of SteelStacks Open Mic, presented by Billy Bauer. The weekly series served as the platform for the release of singer-songwriter Kara Hartzell’s debut EP, “When I’m Home.”
Kara Hartzell is a singer-songwriter hailing from the Lehigh Valley whose debut EP, “When I’m Home,” is set for release on October 5, 2017 at SteelStacks. Kara joins The Quinn Spinn to tell us what we can expect, and to perform a couple of original selections live on the show.
While we continue to digest the many tracks recently presented on Maverick da Roninn‘s newest mixtape, “Gamers Interlude 2,” we’ve been treated to a music video featuring two of the album’s strongest tracks.
A new performer has been added to the ranks of October’s Lehigh Valley Underground First Friday Concert Series lineup.
