When it’s dark and getting on toward evening, we cuddle in the covers surrounded with pets, pillows, and maybe a cup of tea or hot chocolate. We turn down the lights and allow the night to surround us.
That’s when it’s time for Stone Soup Tales, a brand new, “Once Upon a Time” story series coming to WLVU: The Sound of The Underground from host Sharon Vaught.
Our monthly Friday night party in South Bethlehem continues on November 3, and we have another exciting lineup that promises to be as diverse and interesting as any we’ve had yet.

Alt-metal veterans CKY are coming to Easton’s One Centre Square on Saturday, November 19 — and, when they come to town, they’ll be bringing a boatload of local company with them.
Tape Swap Radio — whose indie rock showcase you can hear every Thursday at 8 p.m. on WLVU: The Sound of The Underground — have returned to the rooftop of Allentown’s Cigar Factory, with veteran indie rockers The Insidious Rays in tow.
With “Last Time We Spoke,” fresh alt-rock five-piece Widow’s Work is doing their part to prove that screamo is still alive and well.
Stroudsburg’s The Crowning continue to amaze us with their dynamic songwriting.
We stand here, in slight disbelief that we’ve already reached the middle of October. 2017 has been quite an eventful year, here at Lehigh Valley Underground and across our community in general. And, while the year is certainly still far from over, it’s not too early to reflect on all we’ve seen and heard.
While Gamers Interlude 2 is still hot off the press, Bethlehem-based nerdcore rapper Maverick da Roninn is already working “Overtime.”
