Growing Through Changing Times and Energy Shifts with Foundation Mecca

Foundation Mecca is the first-ever three-time guest to The Quinn Spinn, and once you listen to this episode, you’ll see why!

The hip hop artist, producer, and Heal Hop movement leader always has plenty of insight to contribute — about the music industry and the ways we make our way through the world. REVIEW: Chelsea Cutler Opens Eyes, Hearts at Marathon Music Works

Over the past couple of years, Chelsea Cutler‘s career has taken off like a rocket ship. Her sophomore album, When I Close My Eyes, has served as a true watershed moment in Cutler’s career, and has played a large role in helping her amass more than 750+ million streams to date, widespread acclaim from media outlets like NPR’s Weekend Edition, Variety, MTV News, Entertainment Tonight, COMPLEX, UPROXX, Consequence, HYPEBAE, and Ones To Watch; and festival performances at Coachella, Hangout Music Festival, Forecastle Festival, and more.

OK, it isn’t freezing. But highs are only in the 50s, so it might as well be.

What that also means is that it’s time to trade summer’s bright energy for cozier moods befitting the season. That’s not to say that there aren’t some bangers on this week’s edition of UMC20, but it is to point out that the back half of this week’s playlist has a healthy dose of pensive Americana tunes befitting the vibrant pastels of a mid-October sunset.
