The Balcony, a locally-based, widely-featured internet radio show hosted by local music enthusiasts Ann Thatcher and Andrew Chervak, kicked off its Showcase series at Bangor’s Broadway Pub on Friday night with well-crafted songs and the stories behind them.
Indeed, the Bastard Sons of Burt Sugarman did ride again.

As 2016 winds down into its final days, I am encouraged by all of the signs of growth our music scene has shown this year.
While the music community prepares to give back to Scott Marshall in his time of need this February, the country rocker has rolled right along his usual path, staying in the charitable spirit by performing yet another benefit this past Saturday night.
Thursday night was one for the ages, full of delicious food and drink, top-notch musical talent, and the stories that make these artists tick.
What a night of great music and talent from top to bottom at American Spirits Roadhouse (to go along with a bangin’ pulled pork sandwich).
