  • The Healers: comprised of Lord Goldie and Foundation Mecca, a duo of Nashville-based heal hop artists on a mission to heal the world through music. Both prolific in their own right, The Healers are among Nashville’s most prominent and best beloved hip hop acts.
  • ARREIS: On her newest record, Vices, ARREIS takes on the human condition and dives deeply into the the fact that everyone has a little bit of darkness in their lives. From fiery, bright reds to muted, sullen maroons, the red era is ready to make a dramatic mark on the world of pop music.

Building Community and Exploring our ‘Vices’: A Conversation with ARREIS

ARREIS is a dynamic dark pop artist and Chicago native based in Nashville; one who strives to make genuine connections and build community through her music. Her new album, Vices, is a nine-track conceptual offering that stemmed from religious trauma, and takes complex themes and present them to her audience in accessible, relatable ways.

A “double extrovert,” ARREIS joins us today on The Quinn Spinn for a deep dive into the album, our passions, and the ways our experiences shape the world around us. Buckle up!

Songs You Should Hear Before Tonight’s NashLive! Opening Night

Tonight, it’s all about opening night of our 2023 NashLive! Cobra Series at The Cobra Nashville.

Joining us in this endeavor — our first presented show of the year — will be a stellar lineup featuring ARREIS, Chelcie Jette, and Ria Barkr. Two of the three artists on the bill have released music and/or visuals today, meaning that we’re throwing a double release party for the ages.

Tickets are available here for $10, and it’s 21+ up to enter when doors open at 8 p.m.

If you’re in Nashville, you should come out. But, no matter where you are, you can get a sampling of the lineup with this week’s Songs You Should Hear!

Holistic Hangs: A Chance to Build Community

Let me take you back to the Summer of 2017. Nashville still was not but a twinkle in our eye. The Underground Music Collective you know and love today was known as Lehigh Valley Underground, based in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

My hair was shoulder length, and I resembled the GEICO caveman. If you know, you know. If you don’t, consider yourself fortunate. 😉

Halloween is ARREIS’ birthday. This year, it also served as the backdrop for a celebration of her new single, “Straight to Hell.”

P.S.: “Straight to Hell” was one of our Songs You Should Hear last week.
