Folks… it’s time.
The 35th edition of Musikfest (officially) kicks off tonight in Bethlehem, and we are as ready as we’re going to be! Rain or shine, Christmas City is sure to be jumping tonight between opening night of the nation’s largest free outdoor music festival and plenty of other fantastic musical adventures within Bethlehem’s city limits (ahem, #LVUFirstFriday).
As is customary, we’ll be giving you five – count ‘em – five free stage performances that you should visit in your travels throughout each day of the festival. So, if you’re opting to head to Musikfest tonight, here’s the evening’s…
After a rainy, stormy, humid week, things cleared up just in time for a beautiful day for a cause at Hellertown’s Dimmick Park.
Dave Goddess Group have been delivering real, honest rock and roll for years. The New York City-based quintet often finds itself around the Lehigh Valley, gigging to a dedicated following of fans who have come to appreciate the band’s work and authenticity over the years.
On Saturday, July 28, Dave Goddess Group will join us at Hellertown’s Dimmick Park for Wings & Strings, an American Cancer Society benefit featuring local food, local beer and, of course, local music. We caught up with frontman and founder Dave Goddess about their involvement in the cause, as well as the band’s latest.
In the spirit of cancer awareness and making a difference in the community, Scott Marshall is keeping the momentum going from last week’s Concert for the Kids at Steel Pub.
This time, the singer-songwriter is teaming up with the American Cancer Society for a unique benefit at Hellertown’s Dimmick Park.
Crossroads Duo and Dave Goddess Group once again brought good music and good times to Chicago Restaurant’s Club Gravity on Thursday night as part of The Originals Music Series. It was the latter’s “Beautiful World” release party.
But, before we got to the new Dave Goddess tunes, we had some top-notch acoustic blues to enjoy from the opening Crossroads Duo. Enjoy this clip, and watch out for more to come from this great weekend of live music.
Dave Goodess Group held an album release party at The Originals Music Series on Thursday night in celebration of its new record, “Beautiful World.” The band was supported once again by Crossroads Duo for a wonderful night of rock, blues and more.
