Indie Darlings: November 2024

We conclude our November rollout of The Playlists with the one that brings us closest to our true Underground roots.

Indie Darlings consists of the cuts that are ambient, experimental, and don’t quite fit into any one genre box. You’ll hear shades of pop, rock, and folk here — often at the same time — as you get lost in a diverse sea of sounds.

We phoned a friend for this one, too. Our friends at Circle Back Entertainment Group contributed roughly half of the selections here, because we believe in the power of teamwork! (Also, adding this playlist to the mix was actually their idea…)

From the Soul: November 2024

The best music comes straight From the Soul. And, while all of The Playlists carry a special essence, there’s something extra tasty about this one.

There’s soul, funk, blues, R&B, and even a little bit of reggae awaiting you within this 20-track collection. It’s plenty to keep you feeling alive, feeling in love, and even (sometimes) feeling the burn. The passion behind every expressive note and thoughtful lyric is palpable!

UMC20: The Best of November 2022

How is it already the end of November?

That means 2022 is almost over. That means the holiday season is officially in full swing. That also means that it’s time for another monthly UMC20 Best Of compilation.

Lots of tough choices were made, but overall, we think we’ve put together a nice representation of how stellar November 2022 has been. You be the judge!

UMC20: The Best of August 2022

We’ve had a multitude of adventures this month on the way to landing on the UMC20 Best of August. We even had a guest curator step in one week (thanks, Jenna!).

The end result? 20 different perspectives, informed by genre, life experience, and the tastes of multiple curators, mixed up into a musical gumbo pot and best served hot.
