Saturday afternoon and night, a group of musicians led by singer-songwriter Scott Marshall once again came to South Bethlehem’s Steel Pub in the name of pediatric cancer awareness.
Welcome to summertime!
The prime time of the year arrived in a big way this past weekend, with festivals, official openings, and more. Now, it continues with a particularly stacked weekend of programming that promises something for everybody.
Also, a new month begins on Friday. You know what that means!
Now that the gifts have been unwrapped and the egg nog has been consumed, we find ourselves smack in the middle of the final week of the year. One thing you’ll notice here is that there are no New Year’s Eve shows listed below. That’s because it deserves its own list, and that is coming a bit later in the week.
For now, let’s take a look at everything else going on, and let’s plan to finish strong!
My plan for Saturday night was always to head to Northampton’s Hammerhead Lounge. That’s where Signs of Madness and VICTIM would be performing Part 1 of their two-part No Remedy for Madness series, which will conclude this coming Friday in Atlantic City.

A beautiful day in South Bethlehem, just to the west of the Bethlehem Steel Blast Furnaces, provided a picture perfect atmosphere for Rock & Breakaway from Pediatric Cancer, a benefit organized at The Steel Pub by local singer-songwriter Scott Marshall in conjunction with Lehigh Valley Underground, the Greater Lehigh Valley Music Association, and Rocking the Valley.
