Now in its fourth year and created to celebrate the collective impact of the Levitt network of music venues in communities across the country, the 2018 Levitt National Tour will stop in at Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks in Bethlehem on Friday, June 1.

LVU Review-A-Palooza: Kara Hartzell Returns with ‘On the Horizon’

Singer-songwriter Kara Hartzell has been hard at work since we last saw her at our 2nd Birthday Spectacular at SteelStacks in January, preparing to release a follow-up to 2017’s “When I’m Home” EP.

The first taste of new music was released earlier this month, with new single “On the Horizon” recalling the true story of Hartzell’s lonely dinner for one through the eyes of a fictional third-person.

‘The Song of Bethlehem’ Film Premieres at SteelStacks March 18

Thirty years ago, as a student at Syracuse University, Chicago native and aspiring musician Ken Goldstein visited the Buffalo area and got a glimpse of how the closing of the local steel mill in Lackawanna, N.Y. put thousands out of work and gutted a community. In the ensuing days, he penned a song, “Bethlehem Steel,” that he’s carried with him throughout his career.
