Announcing Crescent City Crossroads: The Official NOLA MusiCon 2025 Showcases!

We’re getting set to head down to New Orleans once again for this year’s NOLA MusiCon, taking place in the heart of the Big Easy Oct. 28-30.

What we’ve been dying to tell you is that there’s more to the story this year…

See, we got together with our friends from the conference, including partners Tunetrax and DAWn Audio, to plan something special. Now, we can officially announce that we’ve joined forces to create Crescent City Crossroads, this year’s official NOLA MusiCon after hours showcases!

What is Crescent City Crossroads? It’s two diverse nights of live music in New Orleans, featuring artists from all over the U.S. (with a healthy dose of NOLA artists on the bill, of course). We’ve spent the past couple of months working together to think of some of the most exciting artists we know, and put them all into a musical gumbo pot as flavorful and exciting as Cajun cuisine.

Dates, times, and lineups are below. Each one has its own ticket link, which you’ll see attached to the corresponding night. Advance tickets are $10, increasing to $15 day of show. The price remains at $10 for those with a NOLA MusiCon badge or Halloween costume (because it is #SpookySZN, after all).

Still need that conference badge? Get it here for 25% off using the coupon code UMC25 at checkout!

WATCH: Brother Dusty Makes Us Go ‘whoa’

Last Wednesday — following our inaugural UnderDogs Across Borders livestream benefit concert — our friend and fellow UnderDog Brother Dusty held a special event in Nashville at The Underdog, in celebration of his birthday *and* the release of the music video for his new single, “whoa.” (Clips of the event have begun surfacing, in case you want to check ’em out.)

We can definitely understand why Dusty threw a party of such magnitude. This one is worth celebrating!

Produced in conjunction with Ensworth Guitars and directed by Anastasia Elliot and Josh Saltzman, “whoa” is a thrill ride that breaks the rules and bends the genres as only Brother Dusty can. The video was filmed on location at popular Nashville music venue The Underdog and the Garden Family Warehouse, and is as dynamic and explosive as the hard-hitting single for which it was created.

Brother Dusty is just getting warmed up. Make sure you keep an eye on his socials for updates, and watch the video below. It’s sure to make you go… “WHOA.”

Brother Dusty: The Release WHOA

Immediately following our UnderDogs Across Borders benefit concert, head to The Underdog (3206 Gallatin Ave., Nashville) as Brother Dusty celebrates his birthday with a release party for his new music video, “Whoa.”

Dusty will be joined by a dynamic multi-genre lineup of artists, plus vendors and other fixtures in Nashville’s creative community — uniting Music City’s creative landscape under one roof.

UMC Fun -N- Games: Jenga with The Reveal

The Reveal call themselves a “psychedelic funky blues rap rock trio with a lil twang.” With that diverse palette, it seems that they’re game for just about anything — including a rousing installment of UMC Fun -N- Games!

On this episode, Dustin and Josh from The Reveal join Michelle Stone and Jenna Rose to play Jenga while they chat about music and life. We also get to hear a rare acoustic version of their song, “Desert Man.”

WATCH: Brother Dusty Confronts Authority with ‘Little Blue Suit’

We already know that Brother Dusty is a fearless, multi-faceted musician. He can sing, rap, and play just about any instrument you put in front of him, in any style you could want.

That same fearlessness carries over into his worldview. This time, he’s striking back against the authority figures who have done him wrong with his latest offering, “Little Blue Suit.”
