UMC Contributor and Fun -N- Games co-host Jenna Rose decided to join me this week, contributing a couple of selections to our new “staff picks” series. You’ll also notice that we’re releasing this edition on #NewMusicFriday. You can expect that to be the trend going forward.
Let’s do the thing and let you feast your ears on these…
Michelle apparently has a new game that she invented for tonight’s edition of #UMCFunNGames.

We make our debut at The Cobra Nashville on Thursday, October 14 — and we’ll be accompanied by the talents of Krantz, Monte Mader, and The Mad Sugars to celebrate!
Krantz can best be described as “rock ‘n roll in color from Music City, USA.” Those who join us as Cobra better be ready for some earworms, including the new single, “Louisiana,” set to drop this fall!
This fall in Nashville is going to be absolutely ridiculous.

When we curate an Underground Writers Round, one focus we have is on the diversity of the lineup. If we do it right, each participant will bring something different to the table, in an effort to showcase the wide world of music that exists right in front of us.
So, if we can toot our own horns for a second… we hit the mark with this one. Friday night’s lineup certainly had a little something for everyone who packed into Nashville’s historic Douglas Corner Cafe.

Meet November’s Lineup
Darrin Bradbury is a world-aware folk troubadour whose writing style points out the mundane occurrences of everyday life with wry wit and, at times, dark humor. This is prevalent on his new album, Talking Dogs & Atom Bombs, which was released on Anti Records on Sept. 20, 2019.
Darrin joins The Quinn Spinn today, and we talk about the album and much more — including authenticity, society, and technology’s impact on what it means to be human in the 21st Century.
